Due
to the lack of both overall and individual income community of
Mnarani could not cope with the ever increasing needs of the
school. It is for this reason that Kilifi Plantations, through its
Managing Director Mr. Chris Wilson, Mnarani Club Management and the
school administration started a tripartite co-operation to help the
school to develop and excel. Thus the Mnarani Primary School Project was
started.
The change of management of the Mnarani Club Hotel in 2004
and the reduction of the number of European guests has forced
the Project management to expand it's horizons.
Rachel
Bahati, the sponsoring co-ordinator, visited a nearby hotel,
Kilifi Bay Club, to request to be allowed to introduce the
project to their visitors. This was agreed, by the management,
hopefully this should mean a revitalisation on the project in
2005. |

| The
Objective of the project is to raise the standard of education of
the children of Mnarani Village so that they might escape the poverty
trap of the village and contribute to the development of the District,
Province and Nation.
