Objectives of Mnarani Primary School Project:

To provide by means of sponsorship a minimum of Primary School education for those children whose parents cannot afford to send them to school.

The change in government following the  recent election, has meant that primary education is now provided free of charge for all children in Kenya. However these changes only refer to the cost of education. Kindergarten and Secondary education is still the responsibility of the parents

The families still have to find the cost of uniforms, books and of course writing equipment, many children therefore still cannot go to school.

The cost of sponsorship of a child in Primary School is £40 per year ($60 ) (40,000KS)  This will vary slightly depending upon exchange rates) Primary education covers 8 years.

Payment is  yearly and  covers, uniform  ,books and writing materials All payments to sponsored children are controlled by the School Administrative Committee Any money received through sponsorship that is not used to provide  the above materials is placed into a central fund and used for the continuing buildings projects for the school To obtain details of how to sponsor a child please click on the photo
