Updates for the Project and the Fabric of the School

Following our last report to you, we would like to update you on the previous performances. And we hope this will give you same idea on what is going on.

Our secondary candidates this year are seven and have already started their final examination which will last until end of November.

We have one student in college and will be finishing his course in December.

Up to date we have 17 students in secondary school and 1183 children in primary school.

Primary school final examination for the class 8 will begin on the 9th November for three days.

As we earlier informed you, the project is still involved in the feeding programme for needy children with the help of local businessmen and any other willing donor.

To top up these donations, the project organizes events that can rise money, such as sports triathlon.

We have been affected badly financial, as majority of our sponsors are writing to us and pulling out, these has resulted in us withdrawing some activities for the school such as motivation among the children and school trips.

So far, the project has managed to develop the following with the help of a non-government organisations.(including Mnarani Aid)

a)      furnished computer library

b)      grilled doors in all the classrooms

c)      metalled cupboard in the administration block

d)      building of a kitchen

e)      lockable teachers desks

Future plan if funds allow is to finalize the following

a)      erecting a wall round the school compound to discourage encroachment

b)      roof repair

c)      sanitary toilets

We appreciate your support shown towards the project and hope you will continue assisting these children achieve education.

Many regards

Rachel.
